High Performance: Despite its lower cost, GPT-4o mini scores 82% on the Multimodal Language Understanding test, surpassing other models like Gemini Flash and Claude Haiku.

Google has introduced a new video creation tool called Vids in Workspace Labs, designed to make video production as simple as making a slide presentation.
The Details:
Easy Video Creation: With Vids, users can easily drag and drop documents, slides, voiceovers, and videos into a timeline to craft a presentation-style video.
AI Features: Unlike tools that create video from scratch, Vids focuses on enhancing presentation videos with AI-generated scripts and voiceovers.
Accessibility: It’s currently available in a preview through Workspace Labs, where Workspace admins can enable it for users to test.

Steps to follow:

Meta halts generative AI training in Brazil
Meta has paused the use of its AI assistant in Brazil following a ban by Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) on training AI models using personal data from Brazilians. This action impacts Facebook’s AI expansion in a market of over 200 million people. The ANPD cited “imminent risk of serious harm” to fundamental rights and imposed a daily fine of 50,000 reais for non-compliance. Meta is engaging with ANPD to address these concerns.
